  2. Describe extraction procedures for natural compounds, their differences and their applications the main pathways of aromatic amino acids, alkaloids, phenyl propanoids.
  3. Describe biological activities of several compounds and their traditional use and application in pharmaceutical and/or nutraceutical field.
  4. Explain isolation, characterization, identification, and biosynthesis and activity profile of biologically active natural products.
  5. Discuss extraction procedures for natural compounds, their differences and their applications.
