The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) set-up by under Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has sanctioned grants to Government College of Pharmacy, Amravati for developing a garden of medicinal and aromatic plants. The MAPA garden of college is visited by students of other colleges as a botanical or herbal garden. The students of  college volunteered for the activities related to garden development, sapling preparation and distribution. The awareness about  medicinal plants have gone up and common public approach the college to get the information about number of plants.
